Alisa has been in the marketing research industry for about 15 years, and most recently managed the research department at CMI. While juggling the workload at this mid-size supplier, she became acutely aware of the changes in the industry and worked tirelessly to introduce hybrid methodologies, innovative technologies, and cross-departmental systems. She also supervised many national accounts along with a staff of outstanding researchers.
In August of 2014, Alisa decided to make more time for family and created Harvest Insights, where she provides freelance moderating and research services. With her extensive qualitative and quantitative experience, Alisa fills her client’s staffing holes by taking on either parts of or entire projects. Alisa loves a good challenge and thrives on the insight-building process. Amelia Carry – Austin
Amelia is the Research and Data Product Marketing Manager at Spiceworks. She is a market-researcher-turned-marketer. She helps bring fresh research solutions to market and gets the word out on all the awesome work the Spiceworks research team produces.
Armed with over a decade’s worth of research experience (and a special knack for PowerPoint), Amelia is on a mission to spice up humdrum market research for tech brands everywhere. In her former life she was a journalist, ultimately putting her investigative skills to use in market research. After spending her early career managing complex research projects for tech companies, Amelia’s right brain needed to flex, so she shifted her focus to marketing (and has loved every second of it!).

Natasha is a thought leader and innovator with over 15 years experience in digital research. Her background encompasses building marketing research models that align traditional and digital techniques, Social Media Listening and Media Analytics / Measurement. Erin Fredericks – Chicago
Erin is a Senior Director of Business Development at InnovateMR, a global data collection company headquartered in Encino, CA. Erin works remotely from the Midwest hub of Chicago where she manages her national client base of research and end clients. Erin began her career in market research with Connecticut based, Survey Sampling International where she worked her way up through the ranks before being promoted to Midwest Regional Sales Director and relocating to Chicago. 2 years after relocating, Erin moved to the client side where she worked for Chicago based, Navigate Research, conducting sports and entertainment research focused around sponsorship investments.

Over the past 25 years, Melinda has provided global market research, marketing analytics, and consulting to a broad array of clients across the world. She co-founded bbb Mavens after many years working for the “big guys” and several boutique consulting firms. Jen Drolet heads up the day-to-day operations as Managing Partner at iModerate. Danielle Todd – London
Danielle Todd is a Senior Research Manager with Relish Research. Following an MA(Hons) in Geography, and MSc(Res) in Social Research from the University of Edinburgh, Danielle has spent the last five years in the world of research following her curiosity in pursuit of understanding the human condition, as well as how brands can help make the world a better place. Following an 8 year marketing career on petfoods and subsequently moving to advertising at agencies like Leo Burnet, Fiona set up MESH Experience in 2006 to fill a gap in market research. Nikki Lavoie – Paris
Nikki Lavoie, Director of the up-and-coming consultancy MindSpark Research International, is a spirited and intuitive qualitative specialist who translates her passion for understanding people into strategic insight. Kirsten Zapiec – Philadelphia
With nearly 30 years in Brand and Communication Research, Kirsten is both a pioneer and thought leader in the industry. Her mission is to leverage current, relevant research techniques to uncover the insight a brand needs for growth in today’s frenetic market environment.
Kirsten’s career has spanned both the client and agency side of the Market Research world; working with many brands, across many industries. Jo has over a decade of experience in the research industry – starting from grass root level in a call centre for a UK Research Company, she quickly advanced into Insight & Marketing team. Following the buy-out of the company, she then took up a client servicing opportunity to sit across Chime’s Insight & Engagement Division (CIE) covering all facets of research across multiple different entities.
In early 2012 Jo took the opportunity to assist founder, Mark Squires, in starting up his new digital venture, Watermelon Research, which became the Customer Experience Consultancy arm of CIE.
