Tuesday, November 9th

8:30-9 AM | Breakfast at The Stone Lodge
9-9:30 AM | Kickoff with Kristin Luck
9:30-10:30 AM | "What are You Known For?" with Joanna Bloor
How many of these statements are how others would professionally describe your value? Or how you would describe your value? 1. She’s great at getting things done. 2. She’s great with people. 3. She’s a strategic thinker. 4. She’s a problem solver. 5. She knows her stuff. Now go ask one of your peers the same question. Did you both say “All of the above.” or something close? Most do and that’s a problem. Known for telling executives to stop “being boring” about why they are uniquely awesome, Joanna will lead us in a lively and entertaining workshop that literally and figuratively challenges everybody in the audience to think about how you both can and should take ownership of how you talk about your value. More importantly, why you need to start teaching others why you are uniquely awesome. Through an interactive experience, you will understand the core concept of Why and How do you need to speak to value and future-focused language. Each participant will be challenged to.. — Take Agency of their value language - Find opportunities to identify what they are known for and what they want to be known for –their unique value. — Understand how to Amplify their language in an authentic and compelling way.

Joanna Bloor

+ Full Bio

Joanna Bloor, Founder of The Amplify Lab, believes that it’s time for us humans to rethink how we prepare for the future of work. The what, where, when and how of work is changing —and so is the who. Joanna’s on a mission to help us prepare for the big leap into the working future. To uncover and articulate our human value and our place in the next chapter of the working world. No big deal. A self-described “startup junkie”,  Joanna spent her career scaling and building brands like Ticketmaster, Cars.com, OpenTable and Pandora. Known for building teams, infrastructure and revenue strategies through their moments of acceleratin ggrowth and rapid change; Joanna did so in environments where there were no rulebooks, no career paths, no precedents of how things “should” be done. Joanna’s a veteran of playing in the undefined future. A fateful conversation in line at the TED 2016 Conference that led to her realization that the language of humans, how we talk about ourselves and others in the working world, needed to shift. “There isn’t a business leader today who doesn’t think about the potential of their business, products and technology – about how they will solve problems of and in the future. Yet when we talk about the people who create those businesses, products and technologies, we talk about their skills, productivity and titles -all linear and mechanistic language of the past. We need to shift the way we speak about human talent, after all, don’t we hire people to solve problems of the future? Shouldn’t we recognize those people for the future-focused work they do by using multidimensional, potential-oriented language?”–Joanna Bloor

Companies such as Microsoft, Philips, TED, Salesforce, GE, Content Asia, PayPal and Ernest Young have brought in Joanna to work with employees from recent grads to the executive teams (C-Levels).

9:15-10:15 AM | Keynote: "Who Will You Become?" with Anese Cavanaugh
As we move into the next chapter of the world (and the next and the next and the next), we are constantly being challenged by change, ambiguity, and new human and business practices all around us - much of which we have very little control over. It can feel relentless, confusing, and non-stop -- it can also feel like opportunity, new territory, and even magic if we create it. The only thing we have any sort of control over is ourselves and who we choose to become; our becoming. At every step, we are faced with "choice-points" of who we will be, how we will show up, and what we will create next. There is a humongous opportunity to step forward bigger, bolder, stronger, clearer, truer, and better than ever before. However, this will require intention (the clear kind), energy (the right kind), and presence (the authentic and true kind). Our becoming is an active choice. How we show up is an active choice. What we do with this time, and who we've become through the pandemic, is now another active choice. In this session, we'll talk about becoming, using your IEP (Intentional Energetic Presence®) to become intentionally, and leading those around you to become their best as well so that we can create a completely new level of leadership, culture, and well-being together. Not just for ourselves, but for the many who will come and become after us.

10:45-11:45 AM | "Tapping into Your Potential using the Enneagram" with Lisa Blosser
In this session we will use the Enneagram as a tool for deep self-discovery. The Enneagram helps to identify a worldview and archetype that resonates with your core motivation. This impacts your personality as well as thinking (head), feeling (heart) and actions (body). This powerful tool is a useful guide on your journey towards self- development, relationship building, conflict resolution and the improvement of leadership and team dynamics. It will help you further uncover what drives you, how you can leverage your strengths, and be aware of the blind spots that can get in the way of you soaring to success!
