About the WIRexec Leadership Summit

Now in its eighth year, the WIRexec Leadership Summit is an immersive, transformational retreat and networking opportunity for woman executive leaders within the Market Research and Insights space. Immerse yourself in this transformative gathering of the industry’s predominant female leadership, all while engaging with the restorative and peaceful coastal California setting. We'll meet in San Diego at the scenic Paradise Point Resort and Spa where we've planned a whole new program of rich, curated content and restorative activities with the unique business goals and personal growth objectives of the female executive in mind.

This year we are shaking things up with an impressive line-up of fresh speakers, from both within and outside of the research industry, on topics requested by you, with an agenda that allows plenty of time for networking and relaxation. We have 35 spots available for this one-of-a-kind experience—be sure to register as soon as possible to ensure your spot. We’ll share more details about the schedule on this page as Summit planning continues—email Michelle Andre (michelle@womeninresearch.org) if you have any questions or need further information. We’re excited to see you!

Confirmed 2024 Summit Speakers

Matt Wallaert

Founder, BeSci.io

For almost 20 years, Matt Wallaert has been applying behavioral science to practical problems.  After leaving academia, his career as an executive lead from startups (Thrive, Churnless) to the Fortune 500 (Microsoft, CapGemini) and back again, before founding BeSci.io (Behavioral Science in organizations), where he and the world’s most experienced behavioral science leaders help companies grow applied behavioral science capabilities within their organizations.

In his book Start At The End and other writings, as well as hundreds of talks from the UN to SXSW, Wallaert details how the cycle of behavioral strategy, insights, design, and evaluation can help us build products and services that change behavior.  From the janitor to the CEO, his approachable frameworks show how everyone can incorporate behavioral science into what they do, no PhD required.

Wallaert’s side projects consistently focus on creating greater equity in the world, like GetRaised, which has helped underpaid women ask for and earn over $3.6B in salary increases, and his research reports, like MediocreWhiteMen, blend humor and science to help work toward change.  He can usually be found wearing cowboy boots and gesturing wildly.

Eileen Campbell

Founder, Womintuition

Meet Eileen Campbell. She describes herself as “The Fairy Godmother of the Insights Industry." She's been conquering the business world since her first job at 14 and entered the insights industry at the ripe old age of 19 while still in university.  After starting her career in Toledo, Ohio, she opened her first office for an agency in Minneapolis one week after her 26th birthday and went on to build the US operations of the Angus Reid Group before moving to Toronto to help launch ARG’s global efforts. Eileen served as Global CEO at Millward Brown (now Kantar), steering the organization to become a $1B consultancy during her 14 year tenure. After leaving Millward Brown, Eileen briefly retired before becoming CMO at IMAX. During her tenure, IMAX experienced its highest growth cycle & stock performance and she was named one of Hollywood’s most influential marketing executives by Variety (she also got to meet a lot of VERY cool people!) She then co-founded Reid Campbell Group, now Rival Group, growing it to nearly $30MM in revenue in under 5 years. While she’s recently stepped away from an active role in Rival Group management, she remains an investor in the company and the team’s biggest cheerleader!

Eileen currently serves on the board of Pure Spectrum and Preface Global and was previously a member of the board of NASDAQ-listed Monotype prior to its take-private sale to private equity investors. These days, Eileen’s time is filled with writing, consulting, and advisory work under the banner of Womintuition. When she’s not working, Eileen enjoys life in the country in the tiny village of Creemore, Ontario where she gardens, golfs and generally lazes about (if you’ve seen any Hallmark movie ever, that’s life in Creemore!). She is married to her beloved husband, Struan Robertson, and is active in efforts to raise awareness of the life-giving power of organ donation as well as organizations committed to advancing social justice and women’s careers.
