WIRe Melbourne | Strength in numbers: Growing financial confidence, choice & freedom

Event Details

Between the gender pay gap, retirement gap and the motherhood penalty, financial independence can feel out of reach for women in Australia - but it doesn’t have to be.

In this keynote, financial educator Lacey Filipich will share:

  • The baseline showing how women are handicapped in their journey towards financial independence,
  • What systemic change is needed to bring women onto a level playing field with men, and
  • While we’re waiting for systemic change, what women can do to close their personal gender gaps

Lacey will include an inspirational case study for anyone who’s ever wondered ‘Am I too late to fix my finances?’

Thank you to our sponsors, Honeycomb, Human8, Nature, Octopus, and Resources Group, for making this event possible!
