Spring Back: Staying Stronger Together

Event Details

An event after the year that has challenged us all personally and professionally in unforeseen ways, and forced us to channel our RESILIENCE to push past these obstacles.

As our home lives and work lives have become more intertwined than ever before.

As parents learned how to play parent and teacher to children of all ages in virtual schooling.

As the economy and job market took a steep downward turn, causing many to wind up searching for new employment opportunities that were hard to come by.

As people watched loved ones & strangers suffer physically and mentally without being able to reach out for a loving hug.

Join us for an event bringing together the Boston WIRe community to celebrate our triumphs, learn from another and continue stronger together.

...

With a year of quarantine behind us, let's reconnect and reflect on lessons learned, changes made, and obstacles met. First we'll log into Zoom for an introduction and brief meditation to set the tone. We'll then move over to a fun virtual meeting space where facilitators will host "discussion round tables" on topics like work/life integration, parenting through the pandemic, and more. Finally, we'll come together to share our achievements and takeaways from the event. This is your chance to meet and mingle in a safe, online environment designed with the experiences of Women in Research in mind. Attendees of all genders are welcome — invite friends and colleagues for a fun night in!
