With over 20 years of global experience in public relations, communications strategy, and advocacy, she has worked with clients ranging from grassroots movements to multilateral agencies and leading tech platforms—helping them elevate their voice and impact.
She also serves as Chief of Brand and Strategy at Ajua, Africa’s leading customer experience platform, where she leads research, consulting, and brand positioning projects across diverse sectors.

Lucille Aveva is a visionary leader with over 30 years of experience in steering multinational organizations to success across the Telecommunication, Hospitality, and Banking sectors. As the Director of Customer Obsession at Safaricom PLC, Lucille champions a customer-centric, digital-first culture that prioritizes customer needs in every business goal.
At Safaricom, Lucille is at the forefront of leveraging AI capabilities and Human-Centered Design to enhance customer experience through journey management. Her leadership has been pivotal in transforming organizational culture to focus on customer satisfaction, driving sustainable and outstanding business results.
Her passion extends beyond the corporate world; she is a dedicated advocate for Women, Youth, and Community Economic Empowerment and Resilience. Together with her daughter Jackie, Lucille founded the Eselle Group Foundation, which empowers youth through access to the digital economy and addresses addiction prevention and recovery initiatives.
