Natalia Infante Caylor

Natalia Infante Caylor, PhD

Natalia is originally from Paraguay, she moved to the U.S. in the early 1990s, shortly after turning 18 without speaking any English to start a life with her new husband. Fast forward a few years, while being a stay home mom of four kids, Natalia started taking English as a Second Language classes, got her GED, and eventually enrolled at Colorado State University where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish. In 2006, Natalia left a pretty abusive relationship of 15 years and took their four kids ages 5 to 12 with her to go to a shelter for victims of domestic violence to start a new life. A couple of years later, she earned a Masters degree in English, and in 2018 earned a PhD in Education and Human Resources from Colorado State University.

During her time as a PhD student, Natalia gained extensive experience recruiting, writing discussion guides, interviewing multicultural participants across the U.S., analyzing and writing reports. She’s taught multiculturalism and Spanish language and culture at different universities. Her dream of becoming a tenured professor changed after graduating with a PhD, applying to dozens of jobs, and not finding “that dream job” she always wanted. After conducting 20+ informational interviews with professionals from different fields, thanks to LinkedIn, she decided to “translate” her growing love for multicultural research and created her own job, by founding Infante Consulting in 2019, which recently rebranded to Hola Insights. Her personal and professional paths have not been easy at all but have been really rewarding. She’s an avid networker and constantly looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
