Virtual Event: The Mental Well-being – How to start the conversation and ensure we all thrive

Event Details

Event speaker David Westgate has worked in advertising agencies for 35-years, and all while suffering from a rollercoaster-like mental illness known as Bipolar 1. So he knows what it’s like to be driven by anxieties so strong he’s sacrificed countless weekends to needless work; to be so sleep deprived, his keyboard sometimes resembles a soft downy pillow, and to perform brilliantly in a boardroom one moment, only to find himself crying quietly in a toilet cubicle the next.

In this session David will talk with us about how we can find some mental balance in these challenging times. He will talk about:

  • The most common metal health issues and their prevalence
  • How to have a successful mental health conversation
  • Building resilience and relaxation exercises
  • Tips for working from home
