Susmita is the Founder & CEO of TheMagic of Sarees (MOS), where she champions sustainability and circular economy through preloved sarees. With an MBA and over 30 years of leadership experience in prominent market research and retail organizations like Kantar and Walmart, she has developed a nuanced understanding of Indian consumers through extensive analysis of patterns and trends.
Her work with India’s leading retail and market research firms has provided Susmita with strong insights into retail processes and consumer behavior. Throughout her career, she has led various research projects to glean actionable insights that drive business success. Having lived and worked across all four regions of India, she also possesses a first-hand understanding of the diverse Indian consumer landscape.
An alumnus of the Xavier Institute ofManagement Bhubaneswar, Susmita is also a passionate educator, teaching Retail Management and Market Research at leading B-schools.
In addition to her professional achievements, she is a co-author of two books: one exploring the changing food habits of Lucknowites and another compiling food narratives and recipes.
Her commitment to sustainability and circular fashion inspired Susmita to establish MOS (The Magic of Sarees) Preloved, the first dedicated marketplace for preloved sarees. This venture reflects her belief in the importance of sustainable fashion practices. ThroughMOS Preloved, she aims to create a more sustainable future while celebrating the rich heritage of sarees.
Leeza is a seasoned Corporate Lawyer with 19+ years of experience and a licensed attorney registered with Delhi Bar Council. Leeza is Founder and Managing Partner of AD-roit LinkS. Leeza’s practice area is focused on advising companies on corporate compliance, business and technology transactions and a wide range of day-to-day legal issues. Her past work experience includes working with corporates like EXL, Innodata Inc., Clairvolex IP Solutions.
Leeza excels at simplifying compliance and has extensive experience in conducting POSH trainings and ensuring PoSH compliances. Leeza is a ICSI certified POSH trainer and serves as External Member with various Corporates and HEI’s (IC). She has trained more than1800+ lawyers, police officials, doctors, faculties, court staff on various legal regulations and POSH. As a lawyer she has a deep understanding of the legal framework that surrounds around harassment, diversity and inclusion, including the legal rights of employees and the responsibilities of employers in addressing such incidents.
Leeza has significant professional experience and extensive exposure to US, EU and Australian business license requirement & management for Insurance, Healthcare and Utilities clients. She is well versed with corporate compliances, HR policies, contracts drafting & negotiations, conflict management and dispute resolution.
