Jennifer Dennie-Lu (she/her) is a Customer Research Lead at REI, leading primary research across the enterprise. She's worked on both vendor-side and in-house consumer insights teams, with previous experience at Nielsen and Roku, giving her a deep understanding of customers across CPG, tech, retail, and outdoor spaces.
Across these experiences, a common thread runs through them all: Jen's belief that businesses can drive meaningful change through socially responsible practices and advocacy. That's what makes her proud to work at REI, where research directly supports the co-op's mission to connect everyone to the outdoors and engage them to protect it. It’s also what drew her to WIRe. She's always been passionate about equitable representation, both for professionals in the industry and for consumers whose voices shape business decisions. She’s excited to bring WIRe to Portland and host events for research, data, and insights professionals of all backgrounds and identities to connect, knowledge-share, and learn from each other.
Jen grew up in the NYC metro, did a digital nomading stint around the country for a few years with her husband, and now calls Portland, OR home, where she enjoys the outdoors.
