25 September 2018—LOS ANGELES—Women in Research (WIRe) has announced the winner of the Best Places to Work award, naming Greenberg Strategy in first place and acknowledging EMI Research Solutions as runner-up.
The Best Places to Work award was created by WIRe, Logica Research (formerly Koski Research) and Keen as Mustard Marketing to celebrate companies in the market research industry who put the lives and livelihoods of their employees at the center of all they do. The award pays specific attention to criteria defined by a global research study as a means of acknowledging companies and organizations who strive toward a more equitable workplace and industry.
The award judges—members of WIRe’s Global Advisory Board—noted that Greenberg Strategy stood out from the other shortlisted companies due to organizational outlooks such as flexibility around working location as well as maternity and paternity leave, among other benefits for both male and female employees. Greenberg’s emphasis on flexibility is not only built into the company’s framework but is also apparent in every day working life for all employees—a quality highly desired by respondents to the Best Places to Work study that informed the award criteria.
Kristin Luck, WIRe Founder and a member of the judging panel, said of the announcement, “Both companies excelled in proving how they met the criteria for the award. Greenberg Strategy has created a flexible, creative and energetic environment and consequently their employees love going to work. It is a desirable workplace for women not just in theory through policy statements, but in practice.”

The winner was announced today at the WIRe Luncheon at ESOMAR Congress in Berlin.
